Ana María Rosado is a renowned Puerto Rican guitarist recognized for her commitment to contemporary Latin American music. She has performed globally, from the United States and Europe to Latin America and the Far East. Her dedication to the genre has led several prominent composers, including Pulitzer Prize winner Tania León, to write works specifically for her. Rosado's acclaimed discography includes her debut solo album, We’ve got (poly)rhythm, and Salsa and Other Beats, which features premiere recordings of pieces by Jorge Morel.

A highly educated musician, Ana María Rosado holds a Doctorate in Musical Arts Performance from Stony Brook University and has studied with legendary guitarists like Andrés Segovia and Sharon Isbin. An exceptional highlight of her career was being personally selected by Segovia to perform in his final masterclass concert. Beyond her

performances, Rosado recently retired as an Associate Professor and Coordinator of Guitar at New Jersey City University. She has also served as a U.S. Artistic Ambassador, touring numerous countries in Latin America, and continues to be an active performer and master class instructor at international festivals.
