Banned Books Blackout Poetry – Grades 6-12 In-Person
Celebrate the freedom to read! Use pages from challenged and banned books to create your own unique blackout poems. Transform censorship into art and self-expression! Your art will be on display in honor of Banned Books Week October 5-11!
Late Arrival Policy: Programs begin promptly at the scheduled start time. Participants arriving more than five minutes late will forfeit their spot to individuals on the waitlist. If no one from the waitlist is present, late arrivals may be permitted to attend at the discretion of the program leader.
No-Show Policy: Patrons who register for a program but fail to attend on more than three occasions may be placed on the waitlist for future programs. This policy ensures that program spaces are available to as many participants as possible.
