Sunday Concert: Rosemary Loar In-Person

Jazz is front and center in Rosemary Loar’s newest show Curaçāo Vagabundo/Vagabond Heart. A longtime favorite of East Meadow Library, Loar and pianist Frank Ponzio, have collaborated on creative arrangements of beloved classics (Fascinating Rhythm, Show Me etcetera) along with a couple of hidden gems from the samba, swing, jazz waltz playbook. The show elegantly showcases her ability to infuse the genre with international influences (she will serenade you in French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish) and traditional cabaret. Bonus: Rosemary is sure to include the audience in at least one sing along.
